Members of the Hispanic and Latino community comprised approximately thirteen percent of Logansport's population in 2008.

The ability to be able to communicate with and better serve the needs of the Spanish speaking residents of Cass County was of obvious importance to us in our ministry.

El Puente allows us to reach out a growing number of Hispanic and Latino individuals and families who live locally and need our support.

The sevices offered by El Puente include document translation, on and off-site interpreting and assistance with form completion. We also have a notary on staff who can notarize legal documents.

Many of our sevices are offered for a free-will donation.

We are currently offering classes in English as a Second Language and our Buenas Familias program aims to increase the educational level of the wage earners within Hispanic and Latino families.
