Morningstar Girls’ Homes provide a safe, quality, affordable and accessible long-tern residential care for up to ten girls’ ages 0-21. Residents are identified by their resident county Divisions of Family and Children and probation. The program also accepts private placements from social workers and treatment facilities (in some cases pro bono.) The girls are taught Independent Living Skills including education, homemaking, parenting, career preparation, money management, and personal health. Morningstar enables each girl to reach her full potential as a healthy, active, responsible citizen. Because we live together as a family, these skills are taught as they would be in any home setting.
